We entered a couple of our wines in the International Wine Challenge and Decanter World Wine Awards.  We have won 6 awards across the 2 competitions I am really pleased to say. Last year we only received 2 awards, plus we picked up a Silver at the Michelangelo tastings in Johannesburg.

Testarosso Sangiovese, Sable Shiraz and White Gold Chardonnay/Semillon all got medals or commendations or both! No Gold’s this time – only Silvers, Bronzes and Commendations, which is a little disappointing but gives us something to work on for next year!!!  We did not enter our Sauvignon Blanc ’12 or Cabernet Shiraz ’12 as the former is already sold out, and the latter has only just been released and we considered it a bit early to put this one in.

All in all though, we are satisfied and must thank all our loyal wine fans there for supporting our wines over recent years – without that we would not have got to where we are!  A few years ago, the idea we would win awards at these sorts of competitions would have been beyond our expectations; now it’s a reality!!  Many, many thanks.
